Updating XtremeHorizon and Lens
Instructions March 22, 2016

Getting started:
Download XtremeHorizon update file
Download lens file.
Unzip lens file so you have a file with a .s extension.

Remove left side cover (as viewed from rear of gimbal)
Disconnect mini connector between the two USB slots.
Power up the gimbal.
Wait for 1 minute for wifi to wake up.

UPDATE XtremeHorizon:

Connect to Wifi on your laptop (not via phone or tablet):
Turn on wifi
Connect to XtremeHorizon
Open browser to 10.10.10.10/update
Username: diag
Password: your gimbal number

Upload your new XtremeHorizon Code:
Navigate to the Update file with .tgz extension
Click update.
This will take about one minute.
When finished, turn power off to gimbal.
Turn power back on, re-connect to wifi and look for latest version number at 10.10.10.10

Update Lens:
Cycle power on the gimbal.
Connect the update cable to the roll board
Connect the other end to the 4pin connector in your gimble. It’s on the upper left side of the Dragon near the lens connector. This passes data to the lens board.

On your laptop:
Connect via wifi
Go to 10:10:10:10/lens
Username: diag
Password: your gimbal number

Navigate to the .s file for this particular lens
Update the code and wait for confirmation that the upload was successful.
Remove programing cable. This is important so I’ll say it again…
REMOVE PROGRAMMING CABLE
Cycle power.

Test system
